If you have opted-in to receive my e-mail newsletter, I may send you periodic e-mails. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from me, you may opt out at any time. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails.
All items are final sale. If there is a problem with your order, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order, and I will do my best to resolve the issue. At this time, I currently do not accept returns, so if you have any questions about an item that is not covered in the description, please feel free to ask before you purchase the item.
However, for sized clothing items only (this does not include accessories), I would be happy to accept the item back in its original condition* in exchange for a store credit (in the amount of the item only - no shipping), as I know sizing clothing can be tough. If you need to return a clothing item for store credit, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order # within 7 days of receipt, and I would be happy to help! Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, and items must be received back within 14 days of receipt in order to be considered for store credit. No exceptions.
*If an item is received back in an unacceptable condition (worn, damaged, stained, etc.), the return may be refused at my discretion. If this occurs, you may opt to have the item returned to you at YOUR expense.

Familiar Folk accepts the following payment options: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Items will not be shipped until payment has been received.
Unfortunately, Familiar Folk cannot hold items to be purchased at a later date. Items are sold on a 'first come, first served' basis, and in most cases, I only have one of each item, so be sure to act quickly if you would like to purchase an item!
If you need to cancel or change your order, please request a cancellation by contacting me within 1 hour of placing your order. After this time, we may not be able to cancel your order. Please understand that cancellation requests are just requests, and even if you request a cancellation or change within 1 hour of placing your order, in some circumstances, I may be unable to cancel your order. In this case, I will work with you on an individual basis to resolve any issues, but to avoid any issues, please be sure you want the item you are ordering before placing your order.
If an item becomes out of stock, or if for some reason, I am unable to fulfil your order, Familiar Folk reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason. I will do my best to provide a reason for cancellation (item out of stock, item has become damaged or unsellable, problem with address, etc.), but one may not be provided.
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days of receiving your order. Shipping times will vary depending upon the shipping method, but typically your order should not take more than 10 business days from the ship date to arrive.
Almost all orders will be shipped via USPS, but in some cases, I may use UPS or FedEx instead to ship your order using the same level of service. In this case, I will verify to ensure you can receive the package at your address for that carrier. If there is a problem, we will be sure to contact you, but in most cases, we shouldn't run into any issues!

All items are photographed in natural light, and I do my best to edit photos to accurately represent the item. However, please note that all screens are calibrated differently, so items may appear slightly differently in person than on screen.
All vintage items listed on Familiar Folk are pre-loved and may show signs of wear and use. I will do my best to describe and note any obvious flaws, but all items are sold "as-is". If you would like clarification about any part of the description, have any questions about an item, or would like to request additional photos, please feel free to contact me, and I would be happy to help!
